Evil is the creation of man. It starts with a thought. Most times there is a motive or motivation for it. It could be revenge, it could be to teach a lesson to the target, it could be to prevent the other party from doing or continuing to do something.
Everyman has a conscience. This is the seat of direction for decision making. The conscience guides a man on the right path to take. However, man may decide to take a path different from that suggested by conscience.
When a man goes against the suggestion from conscience, he gravitates towards evil. No man is born with evil. The tendency to do evil is developed by man depending on his value system which is a function of his convictions which is also a subset of the information he has retained over time.
